Prasara Yoga
Prasara Yoga
Prasara Yoga was developed by Scott Sonnon during his studies of Hatha yogic tradition. It is an extension of original Yoga principles meant to lead practitioners to the Flow-state (called Samadhi in Sanskrit). Flow state can be defined as the experience of a fully integrated body and mind. Prasara Yoga is performed to help practitioners to seamlessly link their breath, movement, and structure.
This is done by finding the graceful path of movement and breathing that links various Asana together to create a Prasara Flow. Each flow is created to work on specific areas of movement and strength, to help the Yoga athlete release restrictions and move closer towards Samadhi.
