Think Fruit Juice is Healthy?

I watched this video a couple weeks ago, and it just blew me away with the irrefutable science.

There are lots of claims out there by the “alternative” medicine community, regarding “this or that” being bad for you.  But here is a presentation that lays it out in simple basic science.  This is no theory or conjecture, but simply what happens in the body when you ingest fructose.

In the past few months, I had gotten into the habit of drinking juice mixed with soda water.  A simple, homemade soda.  So much healthier than the soda pop you buy out there right?  No high fructose corn syrup, or phosphoric acid, just carbonated water and 100% fruit juice.  What could be wrong with that?

Well, I noticed that I had been carrying a little more weight on my belly than I ever had.  I had attributed it to the fact that I haven’t been as active since our twin boys were born.  I used to train upwards of 18 hours a week (90 minutes of yoga 6 days a week, 3 hours of martial arts training twice a week, and 2-3 hours of CST training throughout the week).

After watching this video, I cut juice out of my diet.  And just the other day I noticed that my waist was looking much more like it did when I was training so intensely, and I have been lucky to train 6 hours a week!  It’s remarkable what one simple change in eating did!

Take some time to watch what this doctor has to say, it’s well worth it.
